Legatum aims to be a reference for people who want to rethink and mature well settled concepts about the care and preservation of artistic, archaeological, landscape, historical and cultural heritage in general terms. It is an open door, an invitation to participate for those who believe as mandatory to build the conservation of the common heritage on solid scientific foundations.
Working with Legatum is astonishing simple. You just have send an email to any of the addresses listed on the contact page telling the reasons because you want to contribute; include a short CV roughly depicting your academic training, and a brief summary –around 200 or 300 words– describing the subject your collaboration would be about.
The team of researchers will review what you submit, and if your participation is approved, you will receive, also by email, some credentials to access the site. Once you log in, you can write your text (we are using WordPress as engine, so it is an easy and usually well known, for the majority, way to write some post), which will not be published immediately, but must be approved by the editorial team, which will notify you electronically of the public release of your document.
The theme is not fixed, and there are no specific and narrowly restrictive rules about the subjects to be addressed. However, the relevance of the issue being discussed with respect to the objectives of Legatum will be crucial for this.
The propagation of this site in national and international forums is supported by the Department of Art History of the University of Malaga, its group of research iArtHis_LAB and your project Wounded heritage.
